Membership Statistics

As of April, 2018, there are 1629 active ACC members in Illinois, 171 of which are emeritus. They are broken down as follows:

• 11% - Associate Fellow: Certified by a primary specialty board; or important scientific contributions

• 13% - Cardiovascular Care Team: Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Clinical Pharmacists

• 2% - Cardiac Care Management: Practice Administrator

• 57% - Fellow: Certified Primary Specialty & Subspecialty; or important scientific contributions

• 13% - Fellow-in-Training: Currently engaged in a formal cardiovascular related training program

• .3% - Master: Fellow of the ACC provided with this additional recognition by the BOT

• 1.4% - Medical Residents and Cardiovascular Students
